Tom Jervis is a dedicated Marine Corps veteran who served his country with valor during the Vietnam War. In 1968-1969, Tom was severely wounded, being shot nine times during the intense fighting of the Tet Offensive, earning him the prestigious Purple Heart for his sacrifices.
After his military service, Tom faced numerous personal challenges, most recently in February 2025, when his home in Bartley, West Virginia, was destroyed. Floodwaters from the Tug Fork River ravaged his home, and what was left after the water receded tragically burned down. With no immediate family in the area to lean on, Tom found himself in a difficult position. Currently, he is living with a friend, until we can help him rebuild and get him a safe place to live.
The Fqxhole Foundation has stepped in to assist Tom with the rebuilding process, working tirelessly to provide him with the resources and care he deserves. Despite the hardships he has faced, Tom’s resilience and strength continue to inspire those around him. Help us, help him by donating today.

This past weekend, the Fqxhole Foundation team gathered with a shared mission: to help rebuild and restore Tom Jervis's home and life after the devastating flood in Bartley, West Virginia. Despite the challenges, the team made significant strides in clearing the debris from Tom's lot, preparing it for the installation of his new tiny home.
Co-founder Nadine Askey, hailing from York, PA, along with Nancy Hudson, and Founder Jeff Stagg, worked tirelessly all weekend, removing debris and clearing the space so that Tom will have a fresh, safe place to call home. The team was determined, and their efforts showed as they spent all weekend working together to make the lot ready for the next steps in the rebuilding process.
In addition to the Fqxhole team, other members of the community came together to lend a helping hand. It was truly a team effort, with everyone showing incredible support for Tom during this challenging time. The spirit of unity and compassion was evident throughout the weekend as everyone worked together toward a common goal: ensuring that Tom has a new, stable home to rebuild his life.
The work is far from over, but thanks to your donations, and the community. Tom is one step closer to having a place he can call home once again. The journey to restore his life continues, and the support of everyone involved is making all the difference.
